"Dr. Crane is AMAZING! I've done a couple of treatment sessions with her, focusing on some pain I was having while training contortion and aerial arts. It's hard to pin point all the amazing things she does, but my favorite is she never told me "Well, don't do that" or "This isn't good for your body". She takes time to understand what kind of circus/performance skills I'm training, and how my body is reacting to training. After an appointment, she sends out an individual training plan for warm ups and therapy. An added touch, when I see her in passing she always asks how things are going and how the treatment plan is working. Jen has really helped me up-level my training and remain safe!"
"I was struggling with calf tightness from running, and after one visit with Jen and a few months of following the plan she gave me, my calves felt better and I shaved seven minutes off my marathon finish time!"
"As a professional acrobat, my work and my life is directly tied to my body, so when I my shoulder started acting up, I was beginning to panic. I came to Jen with chronic pain, limited mobility and worries that I wouldn't be able to perform in an upcoming contract. Jen took the time to understand the complexities of the strain my work puts on my body and her guidance was vital to developing a series of stretches and exercises that is keeping my body in working shape. Jen still checks in regularly and now, a month into the contract I was so nervous about, my shoulder is pain free and working at 100%. It's been so great to have a therapist that's willing to really invest the time into fully understanding my body and it's limitations. Whether you're a professional athlete or just dealing with some 'everyday' pain, I would trust Jen to help you improve your condition."
"I can't say enough good things about Jen Crane. She's authentic, relaxed, and engaged- which is a pretty fantastic combo for someone who's trade is fixing bodies back into shape. As a client, you know the she knows what she's doing, from how she works on you to how she explains her method, Jen Crane clearly knows her craft. As an acrobat, my body takes quite a beating from tumbling and hand-balancing. Jen knows how to work with that. In just our first sessions Jen was able to restore a whole side of neck flexibility that for years, I had been living without. Everytime something feels out of whack or out of place, Jen is the first person I talk to. I also really admire how strongly Jen encourages clients to maintain and work on themselves- with just a few simple stretches and therapeutic motions I've been able to take care of myself a lot better, too."
