Hypermobility in Performing Arts
Hypermobility is more common in performing arts than almost every other sport, and it comes with its fair share of stereotypes and misconceptions. From head to toe, we cover specific drills to improve each potential problem area involved in the handstand. First, we discuss the KEY movement categories that should be included in all warm ups to optimize for injury prevention. Then, we fill in our aerial warm up outline with the most efficient and aerial-specific drills for each category.
